Grand Prize Winner – “A Day at the Races” was the Grand Prize Winner. The Laurin family, Marc, Susan and Danielle, marched with three hens in a cage and a Sheltie named Rosie with a chicken strapped to her back and a sign that read, “Is that another chicken joke?” Danielle raised the chickens from 3-day-old chicks. The Laurins live in Burlingame.

The Burlingame Pet Parade was featured on local Comcast cable channel ’Newsmaker’ program in August. One of the parade organizers, Stephen Hamilton, was interviewed along with Zoe.
