The Pet Parade will take place this year on Saturday, September 28th, 2024

Hundreds of people and their beloved pets joined together for the 18th annual Burlingame Pet Parade on September 30, 2023, which featured live bands, the best costumes, float contests, and countless smiles!

The parade grand marshal was Oliver Jolis, manager of Pick of the Liter, along with his two dogs, Summer, a 12-year-old hound mix, and Alsie, a 4-year-old Chihuahua. The Pick of the Liter, located at 1127 Chula Vista, along with Oliver was recently featured on the news for his good deed of returning a large amount of cash he found inside a donation. They rode in a 1956 fiesta red Thunderbird convertible chauffeured by Don Hamblin of Bayshore Auto Body.
The parade was headed by members of the Pied Piper Players, a Bay Area non-profit theater company.
Music was provided by the Burlingame High School Marching Band and the San Mateo Elks Concert Band.
McKinley Elementary School continued their tradition of promoting their annual Harvest Festival.
And brought home the win for best school float!
2023 grand prize winners were Virgil & Maribel Emperador with their Nightmare Before Christmas themed float and costumes!
